This webinar marked the official launch and first activity of the second edition of the FRIDAS project. Held online via Zoom on 26 February 2026, it offered a valuable opportunity for partners to meet, exchange ideas, and present the project and wheelchair rugby to a wider audience.
As part of this European initiative funded by the Erasmus+ programme, the meeting explored the synergy between art and sport and how the project aims to foster empathy and awareness while creating a space where all identities are valued and inclusion becomes a central element of the rugby community.
During the webinar, the project partners introduced themselves and their respective organisations: Latitudo Art Projects (Italy), Bulgarian Rugby Federation (Bulgaria), U.S. Primavera Rugby (Italy), ASD Romanes Wheelchair Rugby (Italy), RK Zagreb – Ragbi Klub Zagreb (Croatia), and Menorca Rugby Club (Spain).
The experts involved in the project were also presented: Erika Morri (Gender Coordinator, Italy), Latica Mladina (Psychologist, Croatia), and Petra Druskovic (Gender Coordinator, Croatia).
The webinar created an open space for dialogue, highlighting how the FRIDAS project seeks to open a new phase in which sport – rugby in particular – becomes a concrete tool for inclusivity.
