On March 16 2026, an interactive workshop on inclusive culture was held, facilitated by Liminal, a non-profit organization based in Athens, Greece, dedicated to promoting equal participation in culture. With strong expertise in inclusive practices, Liminal is one of the most active organizations in this field in Greece.

The workshop began with an introduction activity, where young players and coaches presented themselves by associating their name with a gesture. This helped break the ice and introduced the theme of non-verbal communication from the very beginning.

Participants were then involved in a shared reflection on accessibility in art and culture, exploring what it means to make content and experiences accessible to everyone.

The core of the workshop consisted of a practical activity: divided into groups, participants worked on rugby values displayed on posters and were asked to communicate them to either a non-sighted or a non-hearing audience.

This exercise required participants to rethink their communication strategies, adapting language and methods to make the content more inclusive and understandable. They experimented with different forms of expression, using gestures, movement, and multiple languages to overcome communication barriers.

The workshop provided a valuable opportunity to develop awareness around accessibility, demonstrating how creativity, empathy, and collaboration can help build more inclusive cultural experiences.
