During the FRIDAS project exchange in Greece, Erika Morri, the project’s gender coordinator, actively contributed to an online capacity building session held on March 17 2026, involving participants from Primavera Rugby, Ragbi Klub Zagreb, Menorca Rugby Club, the Bulgarian Rugby Federation, and Romanes Wheelchair Rugby.
Through her session, Erika Morri guided participants through a series of dynamic, game-based activities designed to stimulate reflection, awareness, and collaboration on themes related to inclusion and interpersonal relationships.
The workshop began with a reflection on the concepts of interdependence and dependence, starting from simple yet meaningful questions about how each participant experiences sport – whether independently or with the support of others.
These reflections were followed by practical activities: participants, divided into teams, took part in exercises where they were physically “tied” to a partner, first by one leg and later by both a leg and an arm. In these conditions, they were asked to move around the space and pass the ball, challenging their coordination, trust, and communication skills.
Through these activities, participants were able to directly experience the difference between acting independently and acting in connection with another person, reflecting on both the challenges and the opportunities that collaboration can bring.
In a further phase of the workshop, participants were divided into groups of three: two members created a “seat” using their arms, while the third sat holding the ball. Together, the groups moved around the space, continuing to pass the ball and coordinate with one another.
Each activity concluded with moments of discussion and sharing. Participants reflected on their feelings, gathered insights from their experiences, and worked together to describe how diversity within a team can influence group dynamics and collaboration.
This workshop provided a valuable opportunity to explore themes of inclusion, trust, and awareness in a practical and engaging way, reinforcing the core values of the FRIDAS project.
