EXCHANGE

The exchange visits, spanning 4 days, involve travel between two mixed teams comprising 14 boys and 2 girls (aged 12-16) from each rugby club. These visits serve to enhance personal development, with each group accompanied by two staff members. The FRIDAS project emphasizes a meaningful learning process, enriched by intercultural exchanges between the teams and coaches. Two mixed rugby teams, one from Croatia and the other from Italy, participate in these exchanges. Notably, they collaborate closely with artist John Cascone and Andrea Pangallo. During their stay in the host countries, the teams engage in activities to foster inclusion and belonging. This includes playing a game of tag rugby, further reinforcing the sense of unity. At FRIDAS, nonformal and informal education complement each other, contributing to a lifelong learning journey. The aim of these exchange visits is to deepen understanding of gender integration and inclusion in the host country’s rugby scene. Additionally, they aim to foster a fellowship of shared values and purpose in promoting Gender Equality in rugby internationally This endeavor also seeks to cultivate a sense of active European citizenship and participation in the promotion of fundamental rights.The target audience includes the rugby players (aged 12-16), coaches, staff members involved in the project, and the artists.
